Bhujal didn't start in a lab. It started with a very local, very stubborn problem — borewells failing around us — and a belief that data could take the guesswork out of groundwater.

Solve for Tomorrow is Samsung's flagship innovation challenge, and the field was enormous: more than 16,000 teams. We entered as Team EnvTech with a groundwater story most people had never thought about.
What carried us

We finished in the national top 5. More than the ranking, the rooms it opened — mentors, engineers, and people who took groundwater seriously — reshaped what Bhujal could become.
What we learned
Competitions reward clarity. If you can't explain why the problem matters in one sentence, the tech won't save you. The discipline of that pitch made the product better.
After the stage
The trophy matters less than the momentum. Bhujal kept going because the problem never went away.
